    Team of the season

    I've seen a few of these and on the whole they seem to be BS, designed to get people moaning at them rather than recognizing the best players.

    My take is that any team not including the below, is basically **** stirring.


    1. Clichy
    2. El Jefecito
    3. Torres
    4. Ronaldo.

    Any team of the season that doesn't include them is a) full of ****, or b) deliberately choosing a **** team in order to get feedback to correct them!!!!! (i.e Sky)!

      4.Gerrard
      5.Fabregas
      6.Ronaldo
      7.Torres

      There's no argument for those players. Teams that have Wes Brown instead of Sagna

        You only mention one Utd player despite them winning the league and champions league!!! Now I hate them as much as the next man but give credit where it's due.

          Man U were the best team this season but that doesn't necessarily mean they had the best individuals for each position. Also, notice it's only 7 players so there's room for 4 more (maybe Ferdinand, Vidic..).

          The only player that could stake a claim in those 7 would be Evra maybe for Clichy but I prefer Gael.

            Torres

            Ballack also deserves a mention for his performances during the second half of the season because he is the reason Chelsea were still challenging.

            Clichy was close to Evra, but imo Evra shaded it.

                Not far off, though i'd want Adebayor in there somewhere.
