I remember that day even though I was only 7. Out playing footy in the kit all day. In and bathed at 7 all ready to watch it. My Uncle had gone and promised me a flag. About 10 mins before it came on the telly me nan rang and told me da to put the radio on cos something was wrong. Listened to the crackly coverage from 194 until I think it was Jimmy Hill or Des Lynam came on and said they had bad news. Watching all hell break loose was surreal. Im sure there was a banner that said 'Reds Animals' or something and me da saying 'Look, this is all pre planned, I knew it was gonna go off'. The game was a blur after all that.

Pretty much ditto. I was just 7 too.

All I remember from the game is the penalty incident (never a pen as I remember it - I honestly don't think I've seen it once since)....Gillespie on Boniek.

It was very surreal and disturbing. I remember Phil Neal appealing to the crowd...

        YNWA...........RIP.

I was 15 at the time. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. One lasting memory is of this guy walking out of the stands towards the pitch and a massive lump of concrete that was thrown smacked him on the back of the head!

Thankfully things have improved so much since then with regards to saftey in general.

I still feel the stadium had as much to do with it as anything, yes i know that if the fans weren't hostile nothing like this would happen, but the powers that be should expect this, especially in the climate of hooliganism that existed in those days.

I remember one of our players saying when recalling that night, that the stadium was crumbling, that some of the Juve fans were throwing rocks pulled from the concrete of the stadium on to the pitch, even while the Lfc players came out to inspect the pitch ffs.

And so it turned out that a Wall collapsing ended up being the cause of death for so many fans, i can't help thinking that it would just have ended up with fans running at each other as they did & do in many games without such serious repercussions, had that wall not collapsed.

Please don't take this as me excusing any bad behaviour by some of our fans on that night, it's just that i'm still a little bitter at the treatment of english clubs & LFC.

I feel UEFA had & still have a case to answer regarding the stadium, & the game being played there.

UEFA have a case to answer for the way they organise practically every final. The amount of tales you hear, not just from ourside, about the set up at these games is just far to much for it to bea couple of moaners. And its not just a case of the losing sides fans moaning. Istanbul was a ****in disgrace only sweetened by the victory.
