Personally, I am in favour of it happening. Makes complete sense... If two clubs can make it work, then ours can.

Have one end like the Kop in red seats, one end for them in blue seats for the mad home fans, which can act as away support for home games. Other seats to be neutral...

Yes, we lose a sense of our identity, ubt we will be losing this already y moving away from Anfield. Between the Council and the two clubs, we could build a stadium everyone in the world will be jealous of at a reduced cost to all involved parties.

Do I think it will happen? No. As nobody will be brave enough to go through with the decision as they will be villified, even though it makes complete sense.

It makes sense financially but it won't happen. Not with the gob****es or any other club, it's about identity and in English football it is tribal. Maybe this is acceptable in Italy but their league is dour, as well as their fans.

Reduced day one cost for us, but reduced long term revenue. It's only beneficial in the short term.

And we have far too much debt to service for that to even be a consideration.

With the rise in value of the club over the past few years due to the squad value tripling, the global brand getting stronger etc it was the ideal time to use what should have been equity in the club to build the new ground. However, what we've ended up with is some short term money makers who came in at the right time and want to take that equity out of the club as a personal profit and not be here in the long term. I'm not sure they have any intention of ever building a new ground while they own the club now.

For as long as they have planning permission, the club is worth more. You see it all the time, someone buys some land, gets planning permission, sells a huge profit without having to risk actually building anything.

dont worry he will do , a ground share means less money for them when they decide to sell

I've been saying that for ages
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Everton can go do one! They didn't want to know when they were getting their tesco value stadium but now thats fell through they come crawling with their tails between their legs wanting to ground share.

If that happened there would be no kop and if there were those bitter cunts would do their best to ruin it. Can you imagine going the game having murderers ect caved into the seats which would happen.

Inter is looking to move away from San Siro. Allianze Arena is pretty much Bayern's stadium now. Juve are going to move into a new stadium and give the current one to Torino.

Actually G&H's greed may work in our favor this time. Shared stadium means less revenue over the long term. Every decision regarding our stadium will have to be approved by the blues. Any future addition with the aim of maximizing revenue will have to be approved by Everton board. It is just too much hassle.
