I agree. However, the only people that are going to be aware of this is us, the liverpool fans, and we are all already aware of the issues. It may get a mention in tomorrow's Echo but I doubt we'll see anything in the national media. For them to take notice they'd have to do something spectacular and impressive. Until they get national coverage in both the written press and TV the Americans won't bat an eyelid - and maybe not even then.

Don't think any amount of media interest would make the Americans do anything that wasn't in their OWN interests, i would be surprised if Sky Sports don't run the story though, always available for any negative publicity on LFC.Originally posted by MindGuerrillas View Post

SOS are imo just a group of fans who feel morally bound to do something, i'm not sure they believe they can in any way force the Americans out, that would take each & every fan to be involved.
Our owners respond to $$ & ££, it's the only language they understand, & losing or gaining lots of cash is all that will force their hand.
I'm sure many will come on & slag these lads off for wasting time, being ineffectual, even being a nuisance & distraction, but imo SOS love Liverpool FC, & they worry for the future of the club in the hands of our present 'Custodians' ( pfft
), they are at least doing something, however futile it may be.

Media knew about it mateOriginally posted by MascheredUp View PostI'm not being funny, but this whole secrecy thing was bollocks.
This needed full media attention. Why were not Sky Sports News + Setanta contacted in advance?
Seems like a complete waste of everyone's time and effort if you ask me.
Apparently it been on the local news in Liverpool already

Funny that clip.Demonstration against the yanks but the song they were singing was in celebration of Torres who was sanctioned by them.-----------------------------------------------

It's all about maximum exposure, which I don't think it achieved.
More would have turned up if it was more publicised.
Like a fart in the bath to me judging by the number of people in the pictures.Last edited by MascheredUp; 08-06-08, 07:41 PM.18 + 5 = Englands greatest export
