Liverpool chief Parry enjoys Ronaldo dig at Man Utd

Liverpool chief Rick Parry couldn't resist a dig at Manchester United counterpart David Gill at last week's Premier League summit.

The People says when talk turned to servicing debt, Gill pointed out how bad the situation is at Real Madrid. Parry, mindful of the Spaniards' pursuit of Cristiano Ronaldo, quipped: "And it's about to get £70million worse!"

Ohh yes thanks for ****ing the club out of £70m pound rick please add that to your CV. To be honest if ronaldo was at liverpool i don't think he would be thinking of moving to madrid due to rafa and the spanish players as understanding spanish is a lot easier than drunken Glaswegian.

My understanding was we;d sorted a 4mill fee but there was some sort of delay on Parry's part, next thing Thommo and Ged know is that Utd have agreed a 12mill fee for him,

ManU were lucky to have a location where their Stadium could be expanded to 76,000.

Chelski were lucky enough to be bought by a gangster who has 9 billion worth of play money.

We were unlucky enough to be stuck with Dinosaurs like Moores and Parry who didn`t know how to move the club forward.They then sold our club to Yanks who may or may not be able to take us forward.We were unlucky to be bought at a time when our American owners were stung by the credit crunch,high oil prices and a weak dollar.

If Parry would have agreed to that we would have got ronaldo for £4m but Parry sat on it for a week and the next thing ged and thommo saw it on skysports that ronaldo had gone for £12m. So i dont think it was a case of been outbid as we should have had the deal tied up before united got a sniff.
