Probably not given it was a year ago and we'd still been promised the world, since then we've had the manager treated like ****e, public wars etc etc. What Torres has to do with this now anyway I have no idea.Originally posted by fredo View PostSo would you have said this before we signed Torres ?

What if the americans deliver the title to us ? I don't give a **** who's in charge to be honest, be it the americans, tom or jerry or george bush. Our team has to be competitive, that is all.Originally posted by Chris View PostProbably not given it was a year ago and we'd still been promised the world, since then we've had the manager treated like ****e, public wars etc etc. What Torres has to do with this now anyway I have no idea.

Well to be fair this argument is a bit futile. It's never going to come down to a choice like that. If we had the choice of getting Villa I'd grab it with both hands. If DIC take over, great but as others have said, do we really know it's going to be any different under them? I doubt it can be worse but even so....RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFAEL BENITEZ!

What about it? It'll be Rafa and the players that have delivered it, players paid for with debt not any money out of their own pockets. I dont see how winning the league would undo all the mistakes they've made.Originally posted by fredo View PostWhat if the americans deliver the title to us ?

For a moment I'd thought you said something along those lines: 'If I had the choice of signing Villa I'd grab a DIC with both hands'.Originally posted by Red_hot View PostWell to be fair this argument is a bit futile. Chelsea: Massively under debts.Originally posted by Chris View PostWhat about it? It'll be Rafa and the players that have delivered it, players paid for with debt not any money out of their own pockets. I dont see how winning the league would undo all the mistakes they've made.
Manure: Massively under debts.
Both are more successful.
Stop the moaning and put your efforts in supporting the team.

Haha what sort of post is that? Got to love how slagging off our scumbag owners on an internet forum when there is currently no fixtures is clearly "not supporting the team". Quality.Originally posted by fredo View PostChelsea: Massively under debts.

Never said that you didn't, just stated that you should cut the unnecessary moaning. The case with the owners will take care of itself.Originally posted by Chris View PostHaha what sort of post is that? As much as i would love to bring the title Home, i wouldn't want it to be a one season wonder, done at the cost of the healthy future of the club. If we win the title next season, i believe it will be in spite of our owners, & not because they have delivered it. Just my opinion though.
Moores could have taken out Massive Debt on the club, guaranteed against the club to buy us Star players, but i believe he was too close to the club, feared for the long term future if he did that, should it go wrong, so he sold to people who promised they had the personal wealth to do this at no risk to the club. Yes we now know it was a huge error in judgement to say the least.Last edited by Vermilion; 11-06-08, 12:55 PM.

Yes, very true, I hadn't thought of the pants protection bit. With regards to the feet you d see weirdo's walking round with no shoes s feet must be able to cope with no protection. I think I will change my answer to shoes then.Originally posted by BFG View PostHmmmm you see I've never really liked underpants or the hold they've had over me. Apart from less wet patches seeping through to my trousers I don't see what they offer. Shoes on the other hand protect my feet and stop my trousers dragging on the floor.

What an abysmal thread. The argument between Chris and Neil Diamond isn't even funny
I would like to place my vote on Obama. I really think he could do wonders with the club and he would have a lot of power if he becomes the next President of the US :kaip:

A wise choice my friend. If nothing else, at least this thread has encouraged us to debate this compelling issue.Originally posted by sonsofthedesert View PostYes, very true, I hadn't thought of the pants protection bit.
