Was just browsing some of our prem Stats and came across this:
Based on our last 20 games, heres how the scoreline was at half time and then how it was at full time:
HT : Win Win Win Draw Draw Draw Loss Loss Loss
FT : Win Draw Loss Win Draw loss Win Draw Loss
Score: 12- 0- 0- 3- 2- 0- 0- 0- 3
Throws up some interesting stuff, and things we probably had a fairly good idea of allready.
We dont throw away half time leads. This one impressed me, from leading at half time in 12 matches we went on to win all 12.
Of the 5 times we went in at half time drawing, we went on to win 3 times and draw 2 whilst losing none. This is also impressive showing that we can get going in the second half and go on to win, or at least not lose. Saturday was a good example.
The only one thats a cause for concern, is that on the three occassions we went in loosing at Half Time, we lost the match at Full Time. This is something we need to work on, as we need to be able to turn games round ala Istanbull, but in normal league games against the likes of the Chavs and the Bitters.
Anyways, thought it was interesting and thought i'd share it.
