That's the official line that he failed a medical due to high blood pressure.

I was at a dinner a couple of years ago however and Frank Worhtington was the guest speaker and his story is a bit different. He claims that he failed the medical due to having the clap at the time.

Rodney, I can't beleive your comments about Craig Bellamy in yesterday's star.

I find it astounding that you can say that CB is a bad sort - which is why he was ex-Norwich, ex-Coventry, ex-Newcastle, ex-Celtic and ex-Blackburn. How does this prove your point? He left those clubs for the following reasons.

Coventry - He wanted to play for a bigger club.
Newcastle - He fell out with the manager.
Celtic - He wanted to play in the Premiership again.
Blackburn - He wanted to play for a bigger club.

Rodney marsh is a moran working for a radio station that needs to generate phone calls to survive ,there is always a player/team/manager who is the pantomime villan on talksport. I always turn off if its our players who is the "victim" ,then turn back on to listen to irate Scum fans or whoever who have managed to allow themselves to be wound up (waited on hold for an hour) and
try to have their say against the "shock jocks".
For me persoanlly this is water of a ducks back for Bellamy , but how long before
its Pennants turn ?
