Looked strong and difficult to break down tonight (although chances were missed). How do you think we will find this game, bearing in mind it is at the Reebok? We often have a hard time getting the ball on the ground and playing our football when there are so many aresholes trying to knock heads off shoulders, but I think Kuyt should use this game to show just how physically capable he is. I think wingers would be wasted on a side like Bolton, they'd be kicked off the pitch, and I'm not sure the likes of Pennant and Gonzalez are ready in our current set up to play them. So unless Rafa opts for Gerrard on the Right and Riise on the left, I'd quite like to see the formation below. We can still break down the left with Riise, and Finnan can link up with Gerrard. Both Bellamy and Kuyt can drift out wide if need be, but we can keep some steel at the back and in the middle, with an extra central defender in there I think, we'd take them with this line up.

dont like them,they remind me of jack charltons middlesboro team back along,cynical hard working non imaginative, i would love us to open up against them with flair and panache but that means garcia starting and that might not happen, the center backs are a problem i would love to see agger play because he plays the ball and runs with it, but i see rafa going counter attack with sami and jamie playing deep with two full backs rather than wing backs in other words 1-0 or a draw, but i honestly think if a team are brave enough bolton could take a ****ting.

I'd ****ing hate to see that in all honesty. Four at the back all day long. This is not the time to be pissing about with defensive experimentation! 2-0 to spurs at home fine. But not starting line ups thank you.
