Give up on liverpool?

I have been reading these threads and every now and again someone says "if they done this or that, i would give up on the club".

I would be really pissed off if we sold Torres but i really can't see myself turning my back on the club.How would you do that?Would you not look out for our scores?Not watch a game if it was on the box?

What does it mean to turn your back on the club/give up on the club?Is it possible?

If you could do that,does that mean you don't love the club as much as the next person.

The club surly is bigger and much more important than any person/persons.

What,if at all anything, would push you to the limit?

it's just how people feel - i seriously doubt people would just "**** liverpool off" - imo it's a knee jerk reaction that i have probably said in the pub myself "dya know what if we sell torres, then **** it i'm not watching football again" - it would be a ****ing hard pill sto swallow if we did and i'd be devasted but i know deep down i would never stop supporting liverpool

Liverpool where here long before i was born and will be here long after i have gone, if we went bankrupt and sold gerrard, masher, torres, reina*, and were forced to drop two divisions etc - i'd be ****ing devasted but i'd still love the club -

Would never give up the club because we've all got a huge emotional investment in it but I can understand peoples frustrations. C*unts like Abramowich are destroying football. He is the closest thing to Monty Burns that lives and breathes. A horrible ruthless man who obviously thinks money can solve all problems if you spend enough of it but as we've seen a team of galacticos end up being anything but a team because of the ego's involved.

Our owners were supposed to provide a counter to the likes of chelsea and man u an secure our club for the future but they have turned out to be damp squibs and now we are selling good players like Xabi to raise money. They must know deep down that the best thing they can do is sell the club at a profit and move on because they dont have the resources. Instead they will hang on by their fingernails, gouge every penny out of the fans, and risk the future success of the club. This is what pushes me to the limit.

To be honest we could be alot worse off. Liverpool is a drug and if there was a time to give up on us, it was in Souness's time as a manager. If Mourihno managed us I would probably take a break until he left. Cant stand the man.

Try go 2or3 times a season. Would love to go every week. Like Bobby I watch every game on tv, be it in on Sky or Setanta or the foreign channels in the local. Watch the streams when I have to.

Im 100% sure everyone (maybe not marky) would stand by the club through thick and thin, its just frustration that makes people say **** like that and to be honest given the ownership struggle and the supposed signings this summer its expected.
