    And translated????

TORINO, 13 giugno - Xabi Alonso in arrivo. TURIN, June 13 - Xabi Alonso arriving. Branislav Ivanovic prossimo obiettivo. Branislav Ivanovic next objective. The negotiations with Liverpool to lead to Juve Basque is almost at the conclusion. The decisive phone call yesterday between the white to Blanc and the Reds manager Rafa Benitez. In the next few hours the manager juventino will be in England to discuss the final details. The agreement with Liverpool should find around 18 million euros.

The novelty of the last hour is the ability to reach Ivanovic, the Serbian defender 24enne Chelsea. With the arrival of Felipe Scolari on the bench who was José Mourinho and Avram Grant, it is likely that Ricardo Carvalho stay in London, since Brazilian coach does not want to let go. In this case, the spaces for Ivanovic again would be minimal: this year 24enne player taken from Lokomotiv Moscow for 12 million euros has never seen the field. In order not to lose the investment, the Blues could decide to give him on loan. And the Juve would be in the first row for accaparrarselo until June 2009 with the possibility of discussing the purchase in a year.

This is not an easy negotiation, but the company bianconera is moving to try to lead it into port. And the Juve continues to move even on the front Schweinsteiger. The blond player of Bayern Monaco, expelled yesterday evening in the tender Germany-Croatia for a stupid reaction, could become a target concretizzabile if they decide to leave Bavaria.

Fantastic news! He had one good season and then when the opposition figured him out and closed him down his game went to pot. Now, maybe we can spend the money on an area that needs improvement. Yes, Barry is better and more consistent but I don't think we need him. If we're going to spend 18m+ on a player let it be a winger. PLEASE!?

I think we need to start looking beyond Barry, if MOaN is going to hold out for 20m. De Rossi, Senna, etc could do just as good a job. Anyone else out there? De La Red?

We wouldn't be letting Alonso go if Barry wasn't definitely coming in.

Barry for Alonso is like replacing Jenifer Aniston with Angeline Jolie. Some think better; some don't - but arguably there wasn't a problem in the first place.

I would rather us find a solution to our Jo Brand of a left side.

*No offence to Jo Brand butI needed to use someone in my poorly communicated and badly thought out analogy.

                            He´s not going. Yet.

RAFAEL BENITEZ is prepared to dig in and play a waiting game with Aston Villa in order to sign Gareth Barry.
Villa rejected a third Liverpool bid for their captain on Thursday, believed to be in the region of £15million but with manager Martin O’Neill admitting that the England international has his heart set on a move to Anfield, Benitez is in no rush to push through the move this weekend.
The Spaniard is away from the club until next week and although he realises that Liverpool must now make a fourth offer for Barry, he is willing to bide his time to capture the player he knows is craving Champions League football.
An irate O’Neill, who is unhappy with the way Liverpool have publicly conducted their attempts to pursue Barry, has broken down all direct contact with Benitez and is also at odds with their valuations of Peter Crouch and Scott Carson who are possible makeweights in the deal.
Although O’Neill has conceded that Barry’s desire for a move will now mean that his club football now lies away from Villa Park, he and owner Randy Lerner remain determined to get as large a fee as possible for their prize asset who they value at £20million.
Benitez is also willing to wait on Barry because any potential exit from Anfield for Xabi Alonso is not likely to be completed until after the European Championship finals.
Reports in Italy yesterday suggesting that Liverpool had agreed a £14.2m fee with Juventus for the Spanish international midfielder are wide of the mark.
Although Liverpool have had lengthy talks with the Serie A club, who are now believed to be eyeing Bayern Munich’s German international Bastian Schweinsteiger as possible alternative, they have still yet to receive an official bid for Juventus for Alonso, whom they value at £16million.
Financial constraints at Anfield mean that Benitez will have to offload several players this summer to balance the books for big money purchases like Barry and as well as the aforementioned Crouch and Carson, the likes of Steve Finnan, John Arne Riise and Jermaine Pennant could all be heading for the exit door to help raise funds.
One player who will not be leaving Anfield this summer is top scorer Fernando Torres.
Some speculative reports yesterday suggested that Benitez could be tempted to cash-in on the freescoring Spaniard if Chelsea were to offer them a world record fee but Liverpool’s stance on the player remains the same in that he is happy at Anfield and is not for sale.

That doesn't sound very realistic, firstly no quotes and how can Schweinsteiger be an alternative to Alonso?
