He's improved because he's playing with better players, who have more creativity in other areas of the pitch (which we don't have), so his graft gives good balance - because the team can then live with limited creativity on the right side.

I think he did well towards the end of the season for us. I still think we would benefit overall from a guileful attacking playmaker and that this would help get the most out of Kuyt as well as Torres. His industry and crossing are a good foil for the likes of Sneijder.

I think a lot of people still judge Kuyt as a forward in which position he did have a poor season. However he has adapted and is now a very useful wide midfield man for us. He also had a goal every other game rate in the CL which is in no way a bad return.

Kuyt is a top player and considering he lost his father last season he did well. Should be **** hot next season as the euros will do him good

Or alternately he did have a good season with us when he was switched to wide but he as stepped it up even further with the dutch team.

Some of us don't think in black and white

the lad had as worse a season as is possible for him last year with us. i'm actually of the opinion that we sell him on the back of a successful campaign, not that this is likely to happen.

                Couldn't agree more.

**** knows where he'd play if we signed Villa. He aint a RW that's for sure. Kuyt aint a bad player, he's just not good enough for us. And he aint creative enough to be on the right if we stick with one up top.
                Forwards.......

Nothing to do with the Dutch getting more from him. He has been playing superb from as far back as February/March. He just keeps getting better and i can't wait for him to take this confidence into the Premier league this season

He's really not doing ANYTHING GREAT. Same old Dirk, good, decent, work horse but nothing special quality wise.
