    Masher injured?

    I think i just heard on Sky that Masher went off for Argentina with a "serious looking knee injury" any details anyone?

    He definitely injured his knee in a challenge. He played on for about ten minutes but it was obvious that he was struggling.

    We'll see if he starts on Wednesday against Brazil.

      Good. He might not go to the Olympics after all. Lets hope its not long term of course.

        A knee injury is never 'good'. Look at Kenwyne Jones, they reckon he might not even play til 2009

          If he played for 10 minutes after the injury it shouldn`t effect him when he returns to us.

            Definitely hobbled around for some time before going off - hope it's only jarred and there's no long term concern

                  Agreed that an injury is never good news, but if it means he misses the Olympics but will be ready for the start of Liverpool Football Club's new season then Ben's comment makes sense.

                      sorry I didnt mean to make light of his injury and wish him well.
