Seems feasible given that he is teh one ready to sell. No doubt he is looking at it from a purely business and profit point of view, whereas Hicks seems hellbent on staying on so would not want to lose the darling of the Kop.

In that case Chelsea serve a purpose, albeit a contrived one. They sort out the mercenaries before they end up at Liverpool's door. God only knows we don't have the money for mercenaries right now. We've been saved bundles by 'missing out' on expensive passion-less players like SWP, Duff and Malouda (however good they may have been in the past).

I don't mind the fat American ****. He seems to be the lesser of 2 evils. At least he has a presence at the club for the time being. If he says he won't sell Torres, then that is all I need to hear. If he goes against that statement now however, he best get the fook outta Dodge!
