    Mascherano showing who is boss

He is all over the brazilians here

Bossed Anderson in the first half and snapped him good so that he had to be stretchered off

Now he is tormenting big beast Baptista

The little man is a legend. Haha Anderson you ****

Heard on the radio that Anderson had a bad injury. Didn't realize it was Masch who had done the damage.

The South American rivals played out a rather disappointing goalless draw last night in their World Cup qualifying clash, a game that will more likely than not be remembered for the jeers directed at Dunga and the injury picked up by midfielder Anderson.

The Manchester United man went to ground following a challenge from Javier Mascherano, and would not get back up.

He was in considerable pain as the medics tried to work on the outside of his left knee, and was almost in tears as he was stretched off after three long minutes.

There is fear of ligament damage, something that could rule the youngster out for the start of the season if not more, particularly if it is the anterior cruciate ligament.

However, a confirmation will only come after scans later today, so there is reason for Manchester United and Brazil fans to hope it is nothing serious.

                My brother had one.
Couldn't ride a bike for a fortnight, but otherwise he was fine.

It wasn't a bad tackle from Masch at all. It appeared that Anderson's injury was more due to an awkward fall that twisted his knee somewhat.

                          Brilliant.

It's not nice, but there's a certain guilty pleasure when I hear about injured Man U players.

Anderson has got cheeky with Gerrard a few times already and Gerrard just took it.
Mascherano takes **** from nobody and i'm delighted he buckled him. He should be our captain.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
