I thought I would do a time line of the new stadium , from the very first leaked images. I will post the rest in a new post.

I remember when those pics were first leaked, it spread a ridiculous email chain in motion as no one wanted to post the pics in a thread and get someone in trouble . Those were the days, so much enthusiasm about the future, as for now.........

Then we had these fuzzy images, that websites were ordered to remove from their forums.



And then there was the official release of stadium images, before the cost cutting begun.



And this is what we end up with now;



I had some other images to compare as well but to keep it as uncluttered as possible I decided to leave them out.

Thanks for posting the pictures of some of the actual prep work thats going on. helps put things in context when you see that. Definite progress albeit enabling work at the moment. Would love to see more of these as things progress if you have time to post them.

If they want to make as much money as they can they will have to, and I dont think the banks would be to happy to lend money and them not to use it for what they got it for.

Anfield is being knocked down, gone for ever, i liked the first design, it was how it was meant to be, right materials in the right place, but they decided that the stadium taking over from Anfield had to be cheaper.

This is replacing Anfield ffs, the old stadium with all it's history, our home, the price of steel shouldn't come into it, i now see a big grey bulge, where first i saw a Silver Sanctum to football.

Very little difference, I still like the 2nd design.
