Think whoever they faced tonight Spain would have torn apart. Our boy doesnt do ordinary goals does he? The way he had to double-back outside Lahm & still managed to outstrength & outspeed him, then chip the shot over Lehmann so it almost hit the inside of the post was absolute perfection. You couldnt score a better goal of that sort- and to do it in a final is legendary.

He seems to work better without Villa & being the focal point up top. We need to clone him if you ask me.

With the rest of the lads back in training today, I wonder when the Conquistadors will be back to join them..? Torres especially will need to be part of Pre-season to strike up the partnership with Gerrard & Babel from day one against Sunderland - tho I suspect Benitez may rest him.

Main thing is no injuries to ours, it all went swimmingly, Aragones even taking Torres off early in most games, the lads will be full of confidence, especially Torres, coming back to have a superb season for the Reds. Get in there.
