Well noted, only blessing is he didn't have any time with Torres so we still have a "secret" weapon..!

      Alternatively, Agent Paco anyone..??

that is a good point, however rafa has chenged thing a little since he left and now sammy is here things may change some more.

or maybe this was a plan by rafa from the start to sabotage the scum

Pako was only a fitness coach, the real coaching was done by Miller and Rafa. If united see Pako as a replacement for the portugese guy then I think they maybe in for a surprise and not a pleasant one. It'll help us though so all power to them.

Don't think it will happen though.

If their interest is genuine and the bad blood between him and Rafa is genuine then he'd most likely bite fergies cock off to get the chance to go there and rub it in Rafa's face.

He wanted more power from Rafa,he'd get that off Fergie since he delegates most of his coaching duties on the training field to his assistant

Pako did a lot of the tactical analysis with Rafa. He is basically Rafa Mk II in terms of scouting, coaching, tactical analysis however working under Fergie will be a totally different experience compared to Rafa. He was Rafa's close friend whilst Fergie will see him as his worker. Could you imagine Pako talking to the BBC under Fergie's orders?

Rafa has a whole department doing tactical analysis now. There was something on the offal about this a while back. Your point is taken that he did more than just fitness, but the key point is that he was NOT responsible for coaching. Miller was and I am more than convinced that Sammy and Pellegrino have covered this gap.

The other thing that Pako did was manage the relationship with the players, TBH I think Sammy will do better than either Pako or Miller did.

Absolutely agree with the relationship with players and the coaching however I was lead to believe to that Pako was in confided when transfers were taking place and Pako worked with the scouting department in compiling the dossier for Rafa's preparation which has now been filled by Angel Vales.

You could be right, but I got the impression that Macia was the main man as far as transfers we're concerned!!!!

Macia is chief scout. Rafa and Pako would look at targets together and give the list to Macia.

                              Pako To Scum?

Read through this. He's rumoured to be in the slot for Slur Alex's Number 2.

                                aye read that last week
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
