    Is this a New Signing or what

    Dutch youngster joins Liverpool


    Liverpool have signed teenage Dutch forward Vincent Lucas Weijl from AZ Alkmaar on a three-year contract.

    The 17-year-old is a product of the Eredivisie club's academy and is expected to play a significant role in Gary Ablett's reserve squad.

    Weijl is manager Rafael Benitez's third signing of the summer.

    He follows Swiss international full-back Philipp Degen and £6m Italian defender Andrea Dossena, who were unveiled by the club on Thursday.





    Any one heard of him or have any clips of him in action?.
    On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

    Well, it's stated in black or white that he's signed for us, so why the question ?

      Was wondering whether it was picked up earlier in the week and that I might have missed it....

      Newsnow do seem to rehash old stories, hence the reason why I asked the question....

            He's trying his hardest to compete with Wenger on turning young unknown kids into world class superstars.



            Still waiting on Nemeth, Brouwer, Pacheco, Leto, Insua and a host of others.

            Hopefully someone will come good soon.

              Yeah, it was announced last week (sky etc), but it's taken lfc.tv till now to report it.
