While I can see we don't want to declare how much we have to spend but I'm convinced that it's not as much as we need
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

ManU and Chelsea, while Spurs and ManCity do have a few bob.

We think we should be bidding for every Top Player after yrs of Moores in charge. The Yanks would like to be bidding for the best players to boost shirt sales, improve PL and CL positions and increase TV revenue and sponsorship.unfortunately they bought us just as the world economy took a nosedive and the credit crunch spoiled their plans.
Things are getting better,we have more merchandise in the shops that ever and have the best manager who is slowly getting us closer to No 19.

Without bringing the whole thing up again, do you think that is the best we could have hoped for? A few t-shirts in the shops? Is that really the next level? Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.

The problem is, that we sought investment to bridge our cash shortfall whilst the club was restocking Liverworld for you.

The most worrying aspect of all this is when you see Wenger in the press moaning about how they have to sell each year to make loan repayments.
They have the highest match day income in the premier, if not the world. They also only have half the loan that we have to pay off (if that ****ing white elephant of a stadium is ever built)

If they didn't have the disposable income, they had no right to lie about it, the greay snake-oil salesmen ****ers.

Even after the credit crunch, they've been in the American press saying how supportive they're being and the financial committment needed will be there. Lie after ****ing lie, and they don't really need to have people like you making excuses for them. They're ****ing supposed businessmen looking to invest in the most successful english team of all time. You think we'd expect more than a few coppers down the back of the sofa.

looks like we can only signe snoogey doogey if we do it with a "mish-mash" of players, and we can get him to bully his club in to demanding the move. Is that really the ****ing best you think we deserved? Credit crunch or no ****ing credit crunch, they've ****ing lied from day one. The credit crunch hgas enabled fans to make excuses on their behalf, we've accepted our lot is to pay for a pair of cunts to own us.

Thieir plans were to fund transfers with loans, obviously because they've done **** all else, so I for one am glad there's a credit crunch, it means that by the time these monkeys have finished with us, they won't have been able to load us up for the next 100 years. Just ****ing think about our position now without the CC, we'd have already been a lot more in the red.

It's not your job as a supporter to make excuses for them, it's your job to ask how they plan to get around it, and how they can ensure we remain competetive. Spurs are in a credit crunch, as are Man City, as are Sunderland, as are Man U. We needed the investment initially to take us to the next level, and id they didn't have the cash to do it, then they lied.
              Gillett and Hicks are cunts

Rafa's playin the media like a guitar to get the players he wants at the price he wants. It's no coincidence that he's trying to finalise deals for our two big signings & both their clubs are tryin to mug us off!

So if you know this don't you think Spurs & Villa do too?? People seem to think Rafa is pleading poverty to get prices down on targets, do we really think clubs will fall for this? After all so many on here seem to have sussed it out already.

so we want Rafa to come out say i have bucket loads of cash just so people on here can be happy?

sorry we're talking business here and every business pleads poverty constantly.

does it mean we have money or not - who knows.
maybe the fact Villa are asking for 17M for Barry could be an indication they know Rafa has the financial backing

Just cos we don't go in for Villa at 25M doesn't mean we haven't got it.
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

Be serious, who wants Rafa to come out and say we have loads of cash, that would be stupid, as is expecting teams to believe we are skint just because we say so, just say nothing & do the business behind the scenes, don't mention anything about what we do or don't have in the wayu of funds.
