    Trust in US?

"The fans must trust us, we are working hard during the summer with a lot of people in different countries working for us."

Rafa as pleaded for trust as he presues his targets. Trust a big thing to ask of anybody but surely not of supporters of LFC and the man that brought us Big Ears. But there is more to it than that.

Do you trust in the club as a whole, G&H, Parry and Rafa to get the targets this summer. Rafa you can answer this one yourself if you like.

I do for some reason, blind faith probably or despiration....

      I do.

Simply because Rafa has a hands on approach to everything. If he is happy then I am happy I trust the man totally.

Give him 10k to buy you a new Ferrari and then see what he can pull out of his arse.

Rafa wants to stay here, that is clear so he will continue to spin things in a positive light (at least until he decides he can't take being hamstrung any longer) to save his job.

        He deserves better.

rafa seems happy and relaxed for some time now, and i hope that's an indication he's getting the players HE wants to the club and making a proper title chalenge

Those are my feelings, of course time will tell, but i do believe he thinks it's not worth stirring the **** for the sake of it, if the cash is not there then what can he do, but his change in stance to now come out and publicly say we don't have the cash is worrying.

Yes we'll see what has happened by the time the season starts, but i'm not confident, i KNOW he would like Villa & Silva, lets see if he gets them.

I agree he should be given the tools to do the best job he possibly can, i'm fed up with this club wasting good assets by not adding to the good players we already have, it's gone on for too long, we have surrounded quality with mediocre players for years, i don't want it to be a thread that runs through Rafa's reign because of a lack of cash.

                    Exactly.
He can pick the next greatest winger whilst he's still young and worth 10m instead of the 25m he'll be worth in 2 seasons.

But even if he does first he as to convince G&H to buy him.

Even then it's only if Parry to make the deal without cocking it up.

2 very big if's and I don't trust either of 'em.

I don't blame Rafa for saying that. He as to present a united front and be optimistic, but I have a feeling come next summer we'll be no better off than we are now.

I certainly hope I'm wrong but. And there's a lot of window left for it to happen.

Bah, I hate threads like this, I've been denying my negativity and letting dreams happen but this forcing me to think about it kind of killed the mood

                    Lol.

I trust Rafa to provide quality players given the budget made available. But like others have said I don't trust Hicks and Gillette to make enough money available
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

The language Rafa used is all in the pural, US & WE. Its not just a question of Rafa or G&H or Parry. WE are all in this together seems to be the message coming from Rafa. WE got us Torres, Babel & Mascherano. I trust in the WE but not in all the individuals in the WE.

So then if you don't trust the individuals that make up the WE, then how can you trust the sum of it's parts. Quite bizarre reasoning to use. I trust Rafa, and trust he wants to keep his job because he loves it here, that's all about all in that WE that I trust.

He's playing the game, but I don't believe for one minute that after the sale of our club to bring cash into it, he expected to be robbing Peter to pay Paul.

Because its in all their interests for different reasons to deliver the players. They all have to work together on it or else its not going to happen.
