Almost a howler, Insua with a terrible defensive header back to Diego who flys out but misses it, ball headed past him but Carra blocks it out for a corner.

    We're looking very shaky defensively.

Passport problems would only apply to the Home Office in the UK. He's only an Agentinian on holidays in Switzerland.

      I think!!!

Thats how our team has played for years under Benitez. Slow build up. Very methodical. You're going to argue this?

Sorry I was so surprised by the idiocy of the comment I forgot my abbreviations.

We get in behind them, Yossi and Voronin linking up well but Yossi's finish is unconvincing and keeper does well.

What do you want them to do in a pre-season friendly, sprint all game with kick and run football? And that slow methodical football made us the top scoring team in Europe last season.

Their keeper does a Pepe, flys out to head the ball 10 yards from his box. Yossi trys to lob him when the ball lands but fresh-airs it.

I never said our team will never win a game. Just described the playstyle. Besides, they SHOULD be going all out in preseason. These are the reserves. You stake your place in the first team by how well you play in competitive matches. I expect more from them especially considering who they're playing.

Voro deserves some credit, one of the better looking players in this game so far.

neither degen or insua will make it as fullbacks. wingbacks maybe but in a champions league game i'd rather see a back 4 of carra skertl agger and arbeloa/aurelio.

now the question is are they/will they be good enough as attacking fullbacks?

Corner for the Swiss, cleared by Plessis.

Pacheco scythed down for a free-kick.

Voronin with a drive from distance, wide.
