    Dirky Kuyt

Jesus just seen some photos of him from the pre season training camp. He looks really ripped up and slimed down. Hope he has a good season with us this year.

Hardly, Dirky will, & should, be with us a while, at least as a squaddie if his form continues in the vein of his 1st season & last 3rd of the lastun.
            3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Thanks for making that clear, Mr Benitez
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

You also get the feeling that Kuyt is a motivator and the other players love having him in the dressing room.

He does need to maintain his level from the end of last season though.

                    its sir to you!

don't rate kuyt, never have. he's a striker - score some goals or **** off.

how he conducts himself off the pitch, how hard he works on the pitch, how he motivates players - all these attributes are meaningless if he can't do what he was bought to do.

Replace the word 'real' with irritating and senseless and I thoroughly agree.

all about opinions i suppose. none the less BFG how you feel that my opinion of kuyt being bought as a striker to score goals is senseless perhaps says more about you than i.

I was just taking the piss really mate, I know what your opinion is on Kuyt and I know there's nothing I can say to change it so thought I'd attack the poster instead.

Kuyt played in his current position of wide right numerous times for Feyenoord and Holland before he signed for Liverpool so to say he was only bought to play as a centre forward is merely an assumption on your part.

Kuyt will never be the most skillful or exciting player but he does have tactical discipline, vision, awareness, touch and decent passing and finishing ability. I think he's a very worthwhile member of our squad and has great versatility, another favourite trait of Rafa's.
