If Rafa Makes One More Signing.....

Who d'ya reckon it will be?

I know he will sign more than one player but thought it would be good to find out.

    1. Who you think it will be (and why).

    2. Who you would want it to be (and why).

    Mine would be:

    1. Think it will be - Gareth Barry - We have been after him for so long, i cant see Rafa pulling out now that the player wants to join us. Especially now that the Villa fans booed him the other night.

    2. Like it to be - David Villa - IMO played well with Torres at the euros and would give us tons of goals, which would take pressure off Torres and also give us that extra goalscorer that we need.

Would be interesting to find out if people think that what they want and what they get are two different things.

Can't afford Silva. Alonso appears to be staying so Aston Villa can forget getting any big money for Barry.

It will be Robbie Keane next, replacement for Crouch. Im very happy with that

Think it will be - My aunt Eileen

Like it to be - Aguero.

Mind you Keane / Barry is all good!

well it looks like were going to sign that ngog fella but with him only being 19 he'll probably be in the ressies till he's deemed ready. i think we'll sign robbie keane fairly soon which still leaves us lacking wingers. id love us to go for arshavin or silva as i think one of the two would create another dimension we currently dont have.

Think it will be Keane, or another forward, since we've sold Crouch.

Would hope for Villa but can't see the money being available

Not sure about Arshavin. Seemed really good at times, but then in their final game at the Euro's he went missing. We can't afford to have players not giving their all in every match

Can't give you a name, but I think it might be "a Spanish teenager".
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

excluding whatever kids he brings in then I think it will be Keane but maybe with the tapping up claims Levy is throwing about maybe Rafa will wait or move on to another target

I would want it to be Aguero, but not with Alonso going the other way. Not going to happen but oh well.

We will be grand if they went after us then they would have to throw the book at United, and you know they wouldnt want to upset that old ****.

I think the next one will be Keane but I would be very happy if we got Barry and lost Alonso (I know I'm in the minority!)

think it's going to be keane, and i would like it to be keane. the reason is i think he'll make the difference in those home matches against smaller team who only come to anfield to defend! he'll be the difference between a 0:0 and a 1:0 to liverpool!

I think it'll be Keane - Spurs have gone quiet, the denials and outrage have subsided now and I reckon they're preparing to sell.

Would like it to be - Aguero/Silva/Villa/Eto'o

Think it will be - Milner/Barry/Keane

                            1. Keane, and i'll be absolutely delighted! Would prefer him over David Villa, controversially

                            2. Aguero, but not a cat in hells chance of it happening, unless Alonso was used in part ex, which would leave us short in midfield

Absolute ideal scenario for me, however unlikely would be

                            Keane
                            Aguero (Alonso part ex)
                            Barry

Saying that, would expect Keane and Aguero to occupy the same postition. Still, be nice eh
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

would be a nice headache wouldn't it and if Lucas steps his game up we would have competition right through the center of our side.. it's those damn wide positions again !
