We still created chances but I agree we just gave the ball away too often. Alonso was especially guilty and as usual Garcia, but we expect that of him.

Why didn't you just give ratings Neil??

Gerrard and Alonso don't work in the middle as they both don't have enough discipline (too dynamic) and any side can expose this. Momo covers a helluva lot of ground for Alonso normally, which covers up a lot of his discrepancies defensively.

To be fair we have no idea of Riise's condition and he broke down the last time Riise was brought back! So that may have been in Rafa's mind.
