    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Yep me too. I think we'll sell Pennant, not buy Barry and buy ourselves a decent wide midfielder

From the offal and from Rafa's first interview about Keane....

"We were looking for a player with game intelligence and good movement who could play alongside Torres.

"He can play with Torres up front and also on the right.

This is very worrying. Robbie Keane is not or will not be effective on the right. He'll go out there and run sick socks off and try real hard but he hasn't got the pace or the tools in his locker to play on the right. Does Dirky not already fulfill that role ???

Robbie Keanes first interview on the offal....

I see myself as a second striker. I can play off the shoulder, link things up and play in the hole. You are always judged on scoring goals as a striker and I have always scored a lot of goals. Hopefully I can continue that here at Liverpool.

If Rafa wants width, just buy a fecking WINGER!! Leave Robbie to play where he wants to play and were he is effective.

I don't think Rafa sees the sort of width bought by a winger as essential when we have progressive fullbacks (and potentially Barry and Gerrard in midfield who are comfortable crossing the ball). I would suspect that he is thinking more of right side of a front three in a 4-3-3 type formation which I can see working (although there will be little width from his side of the front three).
