But this afternoon has been hard work simply because everywhere I look I see threads about Robbie Keane this, Robbie Keane that, ****ing hell the guy hasnt even signed for us yet! And it seems that there is more hype over us signing him than there has been over any other player EVER! ****ing hell this is the same robbie keane that went to inter all those years ago, that has a decent record in the prem, that plays for ****ing tottenham hotspur. Im not trying to be a miserable cunt here but I fail to see how robbie keane is going to transform us into premiership winners. Our standards as supporters have dropped so much over the past decade its ****ing untrue.

Why not just be pleased? He is quality player and will work great alongside the top notch players we already have. No reason why we can't challenge this year. And he is at melwood today so he pretty much has signed.

You telling that core squad can't win the league? Robbie Keane will have a massive impact. It will result in 15 league goals from him, probably 10 assist and i believe his workrate will help our midfielders score more goals. Thats the key for me, we will get more goals out of Kuyt, Babel, Mascher, Lucas, and Gerrard

I honestly understand where you are coming from, but this guy is the real deal. Prem defenders over the last 10 years have yet to work him out - he can produce the unexpected.

I really have nothing but good feelings about this. He is a striker of the highest quality IMO and one who has been criminally underrated over the years.

He has his recognition now with this big money move and I expect him to raise his game next season.
