I'm a brummie and I can say that it's true, they absolutely despise us. I go to quite a few villa games throughout the season. My mates a season ticket holder and there are always tickets. I have to say they are a vile bunch who just seem to spit and scream at everyone. Any supporters from other teams they've found when I've been there have to get the stewards to prtotect them on the way out. That's in the north stand (opposite their holte end).

I had to protect another Liverpool fan on the way out last season. He was walking alone, head down with his liverpool shirt on, when a group of 5 villa fans got in his face, He was only about 5'9. They were screaming about the ref giving us everything, gerrard being a diving cunt etc, as though it was this kids fault. I pretended to be a villa fan to shepherd him out of the way.

The trains back to the city centre after every game they lose is vile - horrible bitter cunts. At least the bitters are only really that bitter to us, these cunts are like that to everyone.

On a side note, The scum were the best away fans by miles, we were dissapointing to be honest - although it was first day of the season. The scum were really loud throughout the whole match.

I dont like villa fans and never had. I was working in Birmingham a couple of years ago for network rail and managed to get a ticket for a villa liverpool game off my boss. I have been to old trafford and italy to see the pool and villa is possibly the place i felt most unsafe just had to leave the ground 5 minutes before the end of the game as the last thing i wanted was to be surrounded by those ****ers

I would have thought that had Stevie G been thrown into a friendly just after he announced he was leaving, we would have reacted in exactly the same way. Having said that, i'd still like to have him at Anfield, but on a "free" next summer
