F***! USA blew it. Why am I so upset that this team, with a victory in hand in the match against Holland and a beatable team in Nigeria (even a man down!) has blown it. Red card to the USA in the 3', and the manager's team selection, which had no one able to play LB when Orozco went off, a holding midfielder playing at center back for the whole tournament (and burned on 2 goals, one in each of the last two games), Brian "I haven't played a competitive match in three months" McBride starting up top and then staying on for 90' in each game despite the fact that he provided NOTHING for us alone up there... Just a disgrace. I don't even care about Olympic football and I am furious! And we still could have gone through! Three open chances on net in the second half, a header off the bar at 2-1 down in the 89'... it just KILLS me! Peter Nowak should be ashamed of himself with his performance as manager. Disgrace.

Well done Nigeria for capitalizing on being up a man for 87'... USA, you've found another way to make our football seem irrelevant. Cheers, men! FFS.
