I agree that he has been pretty poor, but he's just arrived in the country and is learning the language etc. - I don't agree with your assessment of his free-kicks though...he always looks a threat from the edge of the box.

I'm trying not to get on his back just yet, as he is adjusting to a new environment and style of football. But so far, he has been our player this season. Hopefully he'll improve.

I agree that he looks a danger at free kicks, right up until the moment the ball smacks straight into the wall.

I`ve been a bit disapointed with his free-kicks, but his record from Valencia shows he`s pretty good at them. As long as Riise doesn`t play I think he should take them when a left foot is needed. And it keeps Gerrard away from them. How he can blast a bounching ball where ever he wants, but can`t hit one laying still is a puzzle to me.
