This is a tough opening, many physical teams here, we could end up worst case with 6 points from this lotOriginally posted by elvoz View Postif we win our first 6 games
sunderland away
boro home
villa away
scum home
stoke home
bitters away
simple as that
anyone disagree ?
or what do you expect from these games

yeah think it is just two - we would still have gerrard and either barry alonso or possibly both. Plus we have given plessis a good pre season so hopefully he can cover if needed.
I reckon the first two games we will play 4-4-2 something like
Reina
Carragher
Skirtel
Agger
Dossena
Yossi
Gerrard
Barry/Alonso
Kuyt
Keane
Torres.
then once babel/masher get back - it will be interesting to see hwat happens - obv a lot depends on form/fitness of players etci own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

do you think so!Originally posted by Assassin View PostThis is a tough opening, many physical teams here, we could end up worst case with 6 points from this lot
We sure beat times like sunderland away, borough at home.
Villa away will be difficult regardless the result of the barry transfer, the fans will be fired up and i fully suspect MON to make some silly statements in the pre match conference - something like "liverpool WERE the most respected club" or something to really get the fans media players at villa really up for it.
If we win are first two then ****ted villa then I might start thinking the unthinkable
if we don't beat stoke then we are having issues.
The mancs and the derby are different kettle of fish - anything can happen - 2 wins and we could really be flying but i'd settle for a win and a draw now!i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I dont really think so (well really hope not), but, there are too many people who think we are just going to hand out a dicking to every team we meet. This is the belief every year at the beginning of the season.Originally posted by PTP View Postdo you think so!

There are several banana skins here.
Sunderland away, new season, all fired up and very physical
Boro home, not easy they raise there game against all the top teams
Villa away, always tough for a team to go there and get a result, even tougher if we get Barry
Mancs home, we are due a result against them, but will it be now
Stoke home, 11 man defence
Bitters away, always tougher than we would like to think

i could go either way...we could win all 6 and storm the table or we could stutter our start and end up with 11 points from 6 games and be like 5 points behind the mancs / chelsea..... i don't think we will know until after those 6 games to be fair though.....
we could end up drawing away to sunderland and villa, losing to mancs and possibly drawing away to the bitters as well.....****in disaster if we have a bad start....
