I did a bit of research & came up with the following:
1.) Manure - £29 million net spent (including iminnent Tevez deal)
2.) Man City - £20 million net spent
      3.) Sunderland - £18.66 million net spent
      4.) Villa & Bolton - £13 million net spent
      6.) LFC - £12.05 million net spent
      7.) Chelski - £10.2 million net spent
      8.) Stoke - £8.5 million net spent
9.) Fulham - £8.18 million net spent (about to splash out on Johnson as well)
      10.) Spurs - £5.2 million net spent
      11.) Wigan - £5.1 million net spent
12.) Arsenal - £5 million net spent (They are OFFICIALLY a wankfest club)
      13.) Hull - £3.75 million net spent
      14.) Newcastle - £3 million net spent
      15.) Boro - £2.7 million net spent
16.) West Brom - £1.85 million net spent
      17.) Neverton - £0 net spent
18.) West Ham - £1.6 million net profit
      19.) Pompey - £4.2 million net profit
      20.) Blackburn - £13.5 million net profit

Tainio was a big loss for us. He's a very good player and we clicked when he played. But overall, we have done brilliantly in the market this season. We managed to avoid buying dross like Ashton etc and as you say, if Berbs goes, we can bring in a couple more and even make a profit.

Fact is, last year we weren't good enough. This year, we'll be better. But still nmot up there in the top 4
Maybe its my perception.. but I always get the impresion that Spurs are spending serious coin on young talent ... proper talent

Who have the Chav's sold to bring them down to £10.2?

Its been a strange summer for transfers .. I think when I read Barca did not sell Eto... Because of market conditions and the fact they would not be able to replace him for anywhere near the same money it really made things crystal for me which is why asking 18 for Barry seems a little on the steep side.

I think people are too concerned with transfer fees nowadays.

Its not our money. If a player strengthens our team then that's all we should be concerned about.
