If Gerrard is more confident in the team he's playing in he'll play better against the top teams, trust me. Keane will give him that i'm sure of it...and we all know about Torres/Mascher etc

        ------------torres-----------

        babel------keane--------kyut

        ----masher-------alonso

This looks good, only downside for me is that Kuty and Babel come inside too much meaning Dossena and probably Arbeloa will have to push up a lot which then runs the risk of us getting caught short at the back.

How do you get a Gerrard-quality backup? You cannot lose your best player and continue unweakened. No team can. Fortunately, these days we are a lot less dependent on Stevie than we used to be, and that's no criticism of the captain. Short-term, we'd probably manage - long-term it would hurt us.

best point in the whole thread

if he was missing against the smaller clubs, no big deal we would have enuf to outclass them anyway.

against any of the other big teams we need him
"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."
