How many here would have been so easy going on English players putting country before club?

How many people here reckon they would get off with an unscheduled, but paid sabbatical that might seriously impair their ability to perform on their return, from their own employer?

I understand the issue of unhappy players, but people, especially the players need to understand who is paying them.

I wouldn't let my subordinates get away with this crap, and I wouldn't expect to get away with it myself.

Barca came across as a bunch of classless ****s: boo hooing all the way to the courts to keep hold of one player. Seriously are they a one man team ? Are they that scared of a 3rd round qualifier that they fear losing with out messi.
Granted we should take ours seriosly but we CAN cope without Bable , Lucas, et al for a couple of weeks - if we can not then we will never challenge for the title.
