Think Sarb and you are close.

We've got no width, and the new full backs are not good enough to provide it.
Why are we buying Barry? Money should be spent on wingers.

      Top 4. No more.

I have to say I think it will be fourth again, third if Arsenal have a bad season.
And the Barry saga shows clearly that the owners are happy with that, why pay £18M or more to reach higher. Max profit is what it`s all about.

Keane and maybe Barry show that they are prepared to invest for short-term gain.

The lastest I`ve read is that they don`t want to pay for Barry, so short term gain it is indeed.
Fourth place with a minimum of expense is a more or less optimal for them, while fifth is a disaster.

WTF? You mean the same Chelsea that put 5 strikers and Robert Huth against us when they weren't winning?

Kuyt was a really important member of the team there last season so as long as he plays the same he will be great plus he has a great cross and good technical ability.

Yes because you've seen so much of Dossena? Evra looked average before he joined Manure so shut the **** up fool.

I don't agree with the wingers thing. Maybe it is semantics but I think we need "wide forwards". Your classical hug the touchline winger is too one dimensional for today's game.

Thought generally it was a fair article. We do lack attacking width. We aren't favourites to win it, although we do have a chance.

It looks like Rafa doesn't believe you need a quality wide man to win the league; he's paid to make those decisions and he'll live and die by them.

How many brackets were there in that? Thought I was reading a Tomkins article.

                          How do we lack width?

We get our width the same way Manure and the Arse do. Through the full backs. We've just brought into two players who are essentially wing backs.

We have two wide forwards who are constantly sitting in high wide positions.

I just don't see how that equates to having no width?

Apartn from the "inflated price for Alonso" and "Dossena not as good as.." comments id say that was a pretty accurate summary.

Wecould win the league. But no one will roll over and let us win it.
