I won't name names as I don't think I need to but it seems to me that there are quite a few "respected" posters across the various sites whose reputations seem to be sky high and the rest of the members hang on their every work like they're ****ing Zeus! These people's posts generally contain nothing specific and are usually just hinting at what may or may not happen as anybody could. They post just enough to take credit if something happens but not enough for them to take **** if it doesn't.
Take Pezzzer, god love him. He posts what he has heared in good faith and takes the ensuing **** when what he'd posted failed to take place. These people seem to want it both ways. To say "I can't/ or am not allowed to say more" is just attention seeking bull****. Nobody is gonna get sued for posting on one of these sites and are we honestly expected to believe a 500 million pound deal would be put in jeopardy by somebody leaking what they know to be fact on a site like RAWK or EST?
I say if you've got something to say then say it or don't bother posting anything. It seem to me that the various mods and 10,000+ post members of these sites are just are just ****ing about with the other members with their "We know something but we can't tell you lot" attitude. It's like being back in the playground.

No but when i talk to people within Dubai who tell me that the Independant article is rubbish as no-one has spoken to them i tend to believe them.

That is of course unless someone is talking to the press without their knowledge.
