Realistically, we should be finishing above Arsenal. Equally realistic is that we won't be and shouldn't even expect to be close to chelsea or utd. The simple fact is that they're too rich for us to compete.

I don't think it's a minimum requirement but to be in the mix come May would be a great improvement and would mean we are heading in the right direction. We need to have a good go and tbh I think we'll win the ****ing lot.

At least be realistic about targets - when was the last time Utd didn't beat us all season? More's the point, when was the last time we even scored against them??
Progress will be slow but you're expecting an overnight miracle!

I think we need to look at getting at least 2 points of United as a sign of progress though. psychologically it is becoming a monkey on our back. For me a win against United would be incredibly important in terms of confidence and mentality going forward. I agree that 4pts is overly ambitious though as a base level target.
