I could understand fans booing the chants of Keano, Keano and I could maybe understand fans booing the other fans chanting about Barry.

Voronin and Pennant got cheers when there names were read out on the team sheet, so who got booed??

I think the fact that it was a delayed friendly meant a lot of people left early that might not have done normally.

Voronin was booed in the Kop when he came on.

Had to leave early the other day. I had an operation last Thursday and its agony being pushed around so I missed the goal. Left 5 minutes early to avoid being caught getting out.

I’d not been with the wife for very long when I took her to the Basel game (in about 2002 I think). Luckily it was a dreadful borefest and the only thing that interested her was the Swiss away support. At one point she said to me “Are they chanting ‘animals & vegetables’?”

She’s never come since.

mine's the one at home on the phone getting our tickets, and before our daughter arrived she was generally the first one at the bar so I've got no problem with her coming to the match
