He's got a point to be fair, he's scored in pre-season but sees the likes of Kuyt and Keane, who haven't, get in ahead of him.

Keane is our top summer signing and the manager obviously wants him and Torres to form a good understanding and Kuyt is a regular in the side and one of the managers favourites. Voronin should know his role and shut his hole or piss offOriginally posted by bigfooty View PostHe's got a point to be fair, he's scored in pre-season but sees the likes of Kuyt and Keane, who haven't, get in ahead of him.

Thats a stupid statement to make. I agree that he def isn't up to Liverpool standard but that doesnt mean he couldnt cut it at a smaller premiership club or back in Germany where he has scored goalsOriginally posted by Sarb24 View PostHe isn't sellable. He's ****ing wank
He is a proven scorer in the German league and there are clubs interested. Im confident we can get atleast a couple of million for him which is a good profit

you cant be ****ing serious can you. What the **** has pre season got to do with it? If he feels he deserves a chance he shouldnt of ponced around the field like a waste of space last season.Originally posted by bigfooty View PostHe's got a point to be fair, he's scored in pre-season but sees the likes of Kuyt and Keane, who haven't, get in ahead of him.
Keane and Kuyt are miles ahead of him in terms of ability, and effort.
Voronin is ****ing ****, and i cant wait till he ****s off

I think he works pretty hard to be honest. I wouldn't say stamina was one of his strenghts but I've never seen a game where he hasn't given his all.Originally posted by Sarb24 View PostVoronin's attitude stinks when he plays. I've seen him play up front quite a few times as a two and he just shows no interest or helps out a fellow strike partner"My commitment to Liverpool is 100 per cent. the fact that it's that ****rag quoting him makes me think the story is completely false. It amazes me that for a pile of ****e that LFC will have absolutely nothing to do with, they have more "insider" information than anyone else.
Still, won't shed a tear to see Voronin leave, although I do think the booing is infantile and moronic."The definition of insanity is not running into the same wall again and again; it's expecting a different result every time you do it."

He averaged about the same number of goals per start as Kuyt did and he also had some good games where he didn't score, such as the Besiktas romp where he was fantastic in creating chances for others.Originally posted by Harveybirdman View Postyou cant be ****ing serious can you. Don't get me wrong though, I'd rather have seen Crouch start than Voronin last season, but I feel I judged him a little harshly towards the end of last season when he was coming back from injury.
And as for "what has pre-season got to do with it". Well obviously some players are going to come into the season fresher or fitter than others. Voronin didn't have the Euros, Kuyt did. Keane still seems to be struggling to find where he fits in. Voronin and Ngog have done better in pre-season than the pair of them so Rafa is obviously not picking form players and instead picking guys to give them games to get settled in. That's fair enough I guess, but if it sacrifices points to do so then it should be questioned.
