    What would make Rafa go?

just listening to gilesy on newstalk and he was of the opinion that rafa is being very seriously undermined by the actions and statements of parry and h and g. pulling the plug on a transfer because someone is not the right player for the right money is the road to ruin. the manager and him alone decides who stays and who goes within the parameters of a budget.

given that and the fact that rafa has been seriously undermined previously (klinsmann etc...), what would make him decide to **** it and walk?

If he realises he can't win the Prem. He won't go otherwise

      Alot more than just that.

The board are allowed to refuse to sanction an £18m transfer if they feel its too high a fee. I have no doubt that Rafa also believes its too high

He has a tremendous amount of love for Liverpool and his family is settled so it would take something very dramatic to happen to make him leave.

A difference of opinion like this is not such a big deal and he is professional enough to get on with the job. However the media will always try to twist this kind of **** into being worse than what it is

If he asks for a sofa and they buy him a lamp!
Jellyfish are 97% water or something, so how much are they doing? Just give them another 3% and make them water. It's more useful

He's already got a few lamps in the squad

the general impression that i get from the media (aside from tabloid bollox) is that most journalists are totally bemused about what the **** is going on at a great club like LFC. i don't see any real twisting by good journalists/commentators.

If he was going to walk away he would have done it with all the Klinsmann **** going on last season. He's here for the long haul IMO.

An offer from Real Madrid will play some part in it.

Not for a while i hope, the cost to us long term from losing one of the best managers around, one that is still learning, and who is young enough to still learn.

I would dread to think which players would follow him out the door, not just Spanish ones either.

                        "What would make Rafa go?"

A really good curry and six pints of lager.
                        Really?

Rafa will have to be sacked to leave Liverpool.

I was going to say something similar

A double cheeseburger and shake, he's lovin' it

Stupid supporters which seem to be a much too frequent occurrence amongst us.
