I guarantee you Sunderland will finish at least mid table this season.. I will be happy with a Win any which way we get it ..Originally posted by elvoz View Postlets be honest sunderland should be ****ed by us tomorrow

We have to go into every game looking for a way to win, expecting it and delivering it .. week in week out right till the finishAnybody who criticizes Klopp ever is a James Blunt. Nov 2015

As with most games like this, it's more or less upto us whether we win.
We're infinitely better than them so it's simply a case of, if we go there looking to win, we will do.
If we go there with the intention of not losing, then it'll probably be a drab draw, worst of all, a defeat.
Mentality is key. Man Utd and Chelsea go to these places knowing they should win, playing to win, and more often than not, winning. If we do the same, we will be fine.

Spot on mate, Theres no if`s but`s or maybe`s about it we should be winning this game tomorrow, and it just goes to show the true confidence we on here have in our teams ability. And if we dont win these kind of games, Title...? forget it.. sure it wont be a walk in the park, but we HAVE to win these games, simple as.

Rafa doesn’t do attack minded football, especially away from home. It’s all about defence and hopefully sneaking a goal…
Pepe Reina"It will be a tough test for us," added Reina. "The first league game is always difficult and it will be for us at Sunderland.
"We won there last season but I remember it wasn't easy. They are a difficult side to play against and they will be going for it against us. We have to be strong defensively and then wait for our moment. "

You make it sound like we didn't score more goals than any other PL team last year. If that's what happens when you play defensive, I sat we switch to ultra-defensive mode.Originally posted by Rigadon View Post

lets ****in do roy keane and his pub team - no other top 4 club would go there talking of draws
i expect the other 3 to win over the weekend so lets not handicap ourselves by being 2 or 3 points behind by monday
lets take the piss .. lets knock it around when we are 3 up - lets see stevie sit on the ball and beckon their players over ... lets see pepe smoking a hamlet
lets talk tomorrow night of which of the goals will win goal of the month

Rather beat everyone 1-0 and end on 38 goals than beat Derby 6-0 and struggle for winners against birmingham, wigan, blackburn etc.Originally posted by El Jefecito View PostYou make it sound like we didn't score more goals than any other PL team last year. It's absurd to look at our team, with Stevie and Nando etc in it, and talk about taking a draw from Sunderland or hoping to 'pinch' a win.
It's embarrassing.
