I didn't say he was injured but coming back from injury and played competitive matches too soon. Apparently he was crap for most of Holland games. That must explain it isn't it ?

I doubt it he'll have had a week to rest between games, international friendlies in midweek mean Rafa's more likely to rest some of the players that play longest in those games and come back tired

Ay, he did look fit for the dutch in the olympics, and played fairly well in some of their matches. He will be able to play as soon as he is back in liverpool. But Rafa would def. have prefered to have him gaining fitness at the club instead.

He seemed to get better and he wasn't probably the best player against Argentina. He doesn't see enough of the ball up front and just seems to run around. The service to him was bad and I found that some of the dutch midfielders were too greedy, especially De Gusman. They should have played him off Sibon. Obviously the initial dutch plan was to play him behind Makaay but he got injured. On a side note, I've just realised how damn strong Babel is (I kind of new this before). He was holding off virtually 2 Argentinian defenders every time he got the ball with his back to goal. I still prefer him on the left wing/ inside left position.

doubt it, with others on international duty.

oh and the fact we look rubbish with the current wingers.
