If, would, could, should....all meaningless bollocks, he didnt and despite being red to the core he is not the up to the standard we should expect in a manager.Originally posted by Sarb24 View PostIf he wasn't so close to the players and they took advantage I think he would have won a couple of League titles. Oh and if James had his brain switched on most of the time
For me Rafa is a great manager and an honourable man, whilst we will never have a problem getting a new high profile manager in (we are Liverpool after all) I sincerely hope we give him another 5 years at the helm. I have enough confidence in what he is trying to do to appease me. If only it wasnt the most turbulent time behind the scenes in our history.

Yeah but now every thread, every 3 posts has an anti Rafa statement in it.From the same three posters. You think if you say it enough times it will make it true.Get over yourself.Originally posted by Rashid View PostIf there are people who don't rate the manager in the Rafa thread, surely one can expect anti Rafa posts?

Not if he doesn't win the title in the next 2 seasons he shouldn't

WINNING you can't plan for, we might lose it on the back of a referees decision. He needs to challenge for it, and if he doesn't do that this season his should be asked to leave - 5 years and **** loads of money spent is enough surely?Originally posted by Sarb24 View Post

What have you seen from Rafa in the league that makes you think that given another 5 years he will crack it?Originally posted by Darth Marty View PostI mean it. Given the situation with the scum and the chavs its nigh on impossible to break their stranglehold and in my opinion it would only set things back if we were to replace him.
Long term he will get it right and win some leagues for us, im sure.
