I'd love to see him manage us if only for the football.
Our owners were in the process of trying to divorce Rafa - does he not get let off for that.

Incorrect. They are saying a player he wants is not worth the money, not who to buy but nice try. Under Evans, he was refused Sheringham - nobody moaned. John Smith once said, "the manager can choose who we wants but we have the final say". It's not a novel concept.

Come on Rashid I'm still waiting for a decent suggestion rather than a reject who cannot find work and a manager who hasn't won anything for quite some considerable time.

So Rafa doesn't get to say who we buy. He advises a couple of leveraged buy-out merchants and a chartered accountant, who then decide who can be bought.

You are splitting hairs and you know it.

Did Evans go after Sheringham for 3 months before he was told no? That was also a great player to pick, if only we had of signed him.

Is there anything about our club that you like Rashid?

Couldnt you put things in such a manner as to not be so confrontational, so "im right, your wrong", some things you say are valid, but jesus you piss people off and personally I joined a liverpol forum to avoid bickering and idiots, if i wanted that id join another teams forum.

no, he says he wants to buy Barry, the board say no he's not worth the fee that they have already agreed to, Rafa then looks to offload some players and raise the money and is then told that he will not be allowed to buy Barry. That in my book is telling Rafa who he can/cant buy. If rumour is to be beleived the yanks did try to offer Silva as a compromise to Rafa.

It is amazing how if you praise Rafa the anti Rafa briggade arrive but if you ask them a simple question that requires a constructive answer they either produce the usual suspects or don't even bother.

I do not think Rafa is perfect - far from it. I cannot however think of anyone out there that I want to replace him with. He is what we require and so he needs our support, not our unthinking alliegence just our support and definately not loaded 'his last chance' questions.

I tell you what, there are some whinging ars**oles on this forum who only post to criticise this club, manager and players - you my friend are most certainly not one of them. Very balanced in your opinions and undoubtedly very passionate about our club.

sometimes I think some on here take a perverse pleasure at us losing, so that they can have a pop.

Let's make no bones about this, if Rafa leaves or is sacked, it could be potentially disastrous for the club. I have no doubts that in spite of what a poor man-manager Rafa is (© Rashid), we'll have a lot of disillusioned players at the club. And what outstanding manager will want to manage a club that is so shambolic, has no direction in the boardroom and has owners who want to dictate to the manager how to do his job?

Thankyou, as you can see I don't post often, but when the critics come out I get fed up of the anti thi and anti that. What I appreciate is constructive arguement, some posters can only put forward the destructive kind, I have tried to show Rashid this in destructively deconstructing his Rafa replacements but I don't think he even fealt the breeze.

And by the way still no decent answer to my question. No surprise there though.

I said Frank Rijkaard, Bernd Shuster is a good shout too... Hiddink is a safe pair of hands as well.
