Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing this El Zhar guy. James Smith has played before this season but I haven't really seen much of him. What's up with the whole Miki Roque --> Miguel Roque-Farrero?

At least James Smith has a profile I can click on http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/team/squad/smith2/

Miguel Roque-Farrero & Nabil El Zhar are ghosts.

Hence my confusion over the way his name was listed.

yet the ****er is one of the top earners associated with the club - I'd say he's on more than Parry and Rafa put together and it must sicken them to the teeth to look at the hoor

Doh! Of course, as to why - just a way to get more shirt money with a name as long as that!

I feel bad for all those people who bought the "Roque" shirt last year.
I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

Rafa uses the reserves to give young players a tougher environment than youth team football in which to sharpen their skills. Occasionaly you'll see a big name player in the team who needs a run out, otherwise its the kids.

At last, there's actual proof that Nabil El Zhar has joined us!

There were loads of stories that this lad had joined but I didn't see anything about him joining officially. Looking forward to seeing what the lad has to offer us.

According to Wiki, it's still not proof he joined us, just that he's playing some games with us. But, his website does say something about signing for Liverpool, however he doesn't have a profile on the site, so i'm not so sure.

I suppose he can play as a trialist, I guess.

                              Anyway, they lost 1-0.
