That's one in the eye for the RCDNR brigade.Originally posted by looprevil View PostYou know, listening to interviews like this makes it very hard, almost impossible infact, not to be part of the RCDNW brigade. Love this man.

Or Sarb & Rage, as they are more commonly known.........................

Totally agree. It's really difficult to disassociate yourself from Rafa (and his family) as a human being. He has such dignity, such unswerving commitment and dedication to us as fans and as a club. Ultimately we all support LFC but Rafa has a place in my heart forever. I'm too young to have experienced Shanks and I was 7 when Paisley stepped down. The joy Rafa brought to us in Istanbul was a life-affirming night, for me, and for that I will always be indebted to him.Originally posted by looprevil View PostYou know, listening to interviews like this makes it very hard, almost impossible infact, not to be part of the RCDNW brigade. It would be an extremely difficult time if Rafa were to ever leave the club against his wishes. Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

When you take the holistic view, as in take in who he is (and his family) and who we are and what we want it's easy.
I should point out that I say that as a OOC who has never left Australia's shore. I would think that feeling would be much stronger in Liverpool itself as it is obvious they feel at home there and are in for the long haul.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

Guess you must be about my age by that, cos that's similar to my experience.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostTotally agree. Agree completely about Istanbul- I wasnt lucky enough to be there, but even watching the final in the Red Lion in Manchester, I went away thinking that somehow that night had justified my whole existence & beliefs.
Cant wait to listen to this this w/e.3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Great listen, really down to earth people the two, and love the way they talked about the fans and the bond with them. You could almost hear them (mainly her) getting moved by the support for Rafa and especially in the most difficult of times.
Listening to this makes it really hard not to love Benitez, hope he stays here for years!!!
