I think that is just why Rafa wants to replace him. He's been very poor today. When he's closed down, he normally struggles during games and never seem to have the time on the ball.

As I said in the match thread, Boro played very well and didn't deserve to lose but we didn't give up. This is how teams win the Prem.
      Another MASSIVE game

I am happy this has been our problem, last few seasons we would have lost or drawn today.
This is how teams win the league, winning when they are ****e.

We need to seriously pick up though, think we will when Masha is back and Babel starts.

Wooppppppp celebrations tonight in Newz..hope the players are there

Wait until we get Torres and Keane to gel and Masch back and push Gerrard forward. Lot of negatives today but who cares
Oh the man is a midfield maestro
and his passes are sooo delightful

Some say winning when you aren't playing well is the key to the title door.

Let's hope this carries on, I don't care what the performances are like as long as we keep on winning.

Great goal to win it, get the **** in!!!!

We have to start winning by playing good. It shows great character this does but we have build on this and play better. Kuyt, Arbeloa, Benayoun and Alonso aren't the way forward.

                But yeah, phew!

Shocking lack of control over that game, got to be sorted out. Confident we can do so quick sharpish with Mascherano back in as long as the defence finishes its period. Anyway, we're 100% in the league and ****e as we were in build-up it was promising on a number of occasions to see us actually know what to do as an attacking unit in the final third where we've previously had no ****ing idea.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I am dying for Keane to score his first goal for us though.
