Thanjk you.

There's little point mate. His reply to my comparison between Deco & Rooney, was but it's OK because kfsdjhasdfhjhsadfhasdlkfhasdlfkjhsdflkjh.
I can only do the rational debate thing
I don't see the validity of your comparison to be honest, yeah Rooney isn't a winger, I think it's stupid him playing there and? I don't know any mancs who think he should be playing there and don't give pisshead stick about it.
Deco hasn't played wide in any of the games i've seen, so again I don't see the comparison?
Like Rush said today, if we'd have gone for the game we'd be 5 points clear of the Mancs now. Fact is we never set up to win the game. Played for a boring 0-0 and thats what we got
No excuses, the starting 11 was a shocking selection...no balance, no width and no ambition. The substitutions were even worse

Bollox,N`gog,Keane and Kuyt all had good chances. We had most of our attacking players injured or coming back from the Olympics and this game was on the back of the 120 minute Leige game.

yr sounding like houllier. we had 46 shots..... even though all bar one of them was nowhere near a chance....

It's not 'bollox'. We went out too defensively. We had no width, we had no balance. We had Lucas playing LM FFS.

Believe it or not winning is not our divine right and is quite often dependent on the opposition too. They turn up with tactics to try and win or 'not lose' just as we will. Some of these posts assume that, home and away, we are going to walk all over the 16 teams outside of the top 4. That's not going to happen. Not to us, not to ManU, not to Chelsea or Arsenal.
As for the starting 11 argument, apart from Lucas out on the left who were the other 'shocking' selections? Overreactions like this constantly baffle me. It's been said on here that we tried to nullify a Villa attack that never materialised. Wouldn't that suggest that our tactics worked rather than Villa were ****? Saying that, I do agree that we were poor in the final third and Keane should stick to the centre and let the defensive midfielders cover the fullbacks but I am sure these issues will be addressed in the coming weeks.
Now I already know the response of some posters by saying this. Anyone saying something positive is branded as a 'RCDNW' member and anyone saying something negative 'has an agenda' but in my opinion the overtly negative posters on here are more extreme than the positive and, in the most part, appear to offer little in the way of balance or constructive argument.
And for those of you ready to quote the dictionary definition of 'discussion', have a read of the meaning and act on it, don't just heckle. It will be far more appreciated.

And herein lies the crux of the matter. It would seem most on here are bi-polar, it's either black or white. Either we set out for a win or we set out not to win.
ANYONE with an ounce of common sense knows that it is a combination of the two and that a combination of the two is most likely to succeed. But still the arguments rage about a non-reality.
Ok, i'm confused...people are complaining about Keane playing on the left instead of upfront...yet people are complaining that Lucas was playing on the left as well....who was playing on the left????

Both. Lucas went to play on the right of MF which is almost as

there was no excuse for that performance.
There are loads of excuses.
Torres came off injured.
Gerrard played injured.
Xabi is pants.
Mascher,Babel and lucas got no break from the summer.
You just don`t want to hear them. You keep our head in the clouds and dream of "Brazilian style football".It doesn`t suit your agenda to listen to reason
Only Arsenal have looked good this season. The rest are also suffering a Euro hangover.I doubt any manager will ever be able to please you until the Arabs come in and buy us a dream team able to compete against Manure and Chavski.

He started the match playing in the hole behind Torres with Keane on the left, he then switched to the left with Keane in the hole, then he moved to the right with Kuyt on the left.
Obviously none of these are his natural positions and for some one who has just come back off Olympic duty, it's a bit of a big ask to say the least.

So what you're both saying is that we had three roaming players behind a lone frontman? With Alonso and Mascher doing the midfield marshalling?
