Never said I'd be happy with it, but as we are missing our 2 most attacking players I'd say it wouldn't be the worst result. Just can't afford to loose really.

And it will be an improvement over the last 2 seasons.

Possibly....except that he could control a ball on the ground pretty well...these days I don't see that very often.......

Virtually every pre season since 1990 I have held some sort of hope for the title. With the exception of 1 or 2 of the last of Houllier.

This season I have no such hope. I see us going backwards, not so much within ourselves but when compared to the financial might of the Chelskis and the Man Ure's. Now we have the emergence of arab money at city to contend with. We are stuck wit those 2 American cocks.

We are also becoming increasingly difficult to watch.

Sorry guys for the pessimism, it goes against my normal attitude but it is the way I see it.

Is this the sort of match where the lads can dig in to **** and make themselves heroes for a day or two?

We havent beaten them cunts at home in the league for a long time, too long.

Because he wouldn't sign a new contract.

because we didn't play him enough and even when torres was rested others were picked ahead of crouch.

And when he did get picked he looked out of his depth.
