Not having that. He cost us a place in the Champions league final and is deluded if he thinks he always gave 100%. That letter is a load of **** if you ask me. Started his career well and scored some super goals in his time and I used to really like him, but then fame went to his head and he thought he was untouchable.
Riise is the reason Pennant is here because he used to always dust Riise when he played against us. He is no legend in my eyes and is no loss.

My take on it is that these players are payed a fortune and play for the best club and fans in the World and should give there all every game. Riise did when he first joined, but in the end playing for us was a chore for him imo.

His career is going only one way and that is down because he has lost his hunger for the game and does not strike me as a serious type. What next a letter from Crouch?
These players are gone for a reason.

I suppose it could be argued that the fact JAR left so long ago and the letter has only now been finished is a sign of RP's involvement. But the fact it was actually finished eventually suggests it might not be RP.

Sorry mate but after reading that I can only conclude you are a knob.
Riise was a great servent to us and never tried to leave even when teams that were more succesful then us at the time wanted him,he always gave 100% and I think players like this should be shown a lot more respect after what they have given the club.

Last season was not his best but he was not terrible, I cant remember one game where a winger took the piss out of him, I think if you asked most fans for their top ten lbs in europe risse would be in there,I saw him against the republic recently and he ran the game from left back.

He was also part of the defence the broke one of out old records from years ago when we went something like 10 games with out conceding, I am yet too see the big improvement on risse from dossena or why he was worth 8m, he seems to have a decent cross but looks like he gets caught out of position a lot defensively.

Thanks risse for giving your all to the club and fror being a great servent, all the best in Italy.

No,funnily enough,after being personally invited by Revo about three months before the site opened the offer was rescinded after i defended the Yanks in Toms "lost our club" thread and after I was accused of slagging Revo off on this site.(Something I don`t remember doing and something that was never proven).if you`d like some more info on the affair I`ll PM you as I`m sure the Mods would rather a direct rival site was not mentioned on here.
